Burlington Mayor Advocates for Children, just not the native ones
Here the mayor is heard advocating for Finlay's law. She states that this was a systemic failure that lead to an entirely preventable death. Sound familiar? She told me in writing that the death of LL was a provincial issue and was beyond her scope. Listen in this interview as she describes the steps she took to ensure that Finlay's law was brought through the provincial and federal legislature. Why does she believe that Finlay deserves justice, but ignores LL's similar fate. Is it because LL is indigenous and Finlay is a little Dutch boy? Is it because she has friends at CAS who were directly responsible? All I know for sure is that she is a hypocrite and a coward wrapped into a single package. She clearly has the ability and the platform to advocate for LL. Disgusting
